Patient Testimonials: Dr. Schwartz

John

John, who is an avid hunter, lives for duck season. He waits all year for those short 3/12 months. After tearing his rotator cuff in his right shoulder he was horrified that he might miss out on his “passion” in life. Luckily, after visiting Rubin Orthopedics, he was scheduled for surgery quickly with Dr. Schwartz, and was told he would recover in time for duck season, which he always spends with his son and grandchildren. John speaks highly of Rubin Orthopedics, and has “nothing but good things to say.” Dr Schwartz has been “fantastic and very straightforward,” which John appreciates, and his treatment “style fits me perfectly.” John also noted the fact that Rubin Orthopedics “has stayed more in contact with my family physician than other offices,” which he greatly appreciates.

Jacob

Dr. Schwartz performed knee arthroscopic surgery on both of Jacob’s knees. Dr. Schwartz was of assistance to Jacob when needed, following the surgery, and informed him of some knee exercises that would regain his strength for a full recovery. Jacob’s mom stated, “Dr. Schwartz is a very friendly doctor that makes you feel very much at easy.”

Thomas

Thomas fractured his arm while skateboarding. He had heard great things about Rubin Orthopedics, and insisted his primary doctor referred him there. “I had a great overall experience here in the office; the staff is extremely helpful and kind. I met with Dr. Schwartz, and he was great, very reassuring and went in depth about my injury and the recovery process.”

Leila

Leila is a clubfoot patient, she was born with this condition and it was obvious from birth. It did not cause her any pain, but she seems to be adjusting well a few weeks after surgery and there are definite signs of improvement. Leila’s parents state, “Dr. Schwartz is a very nice doctor and we appreciate him helping our daughter. Ami is also awesome she is extremely helpful and takes the time we need!”

Neana

Neana has had multiple surgeries performed by our talented surgical staff. She has osteoarthritis throughout her body, thus requiring surgery on multiple joints. Her latest surgeries include Carpal tunnel releases of both hands. The surgeries were performed by Dr. Schwartz, “he was very nice I liked him a lot, and he has relieved a lot of my pain.” Before surgery Neana had constant numbing in arms and her hands, it was nearly impossible for her to carry out basic tasks. Neana has also been seen by Ami and Leah our physician assistants, she said, “they are both really nice and helpful!”

Alexus

Alexus tore her ACL while playing soccer, she had immediate pain after the injury occurred, however the pain lessened as time went on. Dr. Schwartz performed her surgery and since she has been following up with physical therapy. “Dr. Schwartz is a good doctor; he was very nice and reassured me. Mike is also great, he is my favorite person, he makes sure everything is ok and is always positive!”

Ashok

Ashok injured his knee while at work when he fell. Dr. Schwartz treated him, and Ashok underwent surgery on July 11th, 2010 for left medial and lateral arthroscopic menisectomies. Ashok feels “very good” about the staff at Rubin Orthopedics, and notes that there is an “excellent atmosphere” in the office. He would “definitely” recommend Rubin Orthopedics to anyone with similar problems.
